About Me
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Certified Clinical Trauma Professional
As a seasoned mental health professional, I am deeply committed to providing compassionate and evidence-based therapeutic care. With a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from Texas State University and a license from the Texas State Board of Social Work Examiners, I have cultivated over 10 years of experience in both community mental health and outpatient settings.

My therapeutic approach is informed by a variety of theoretical frameworks, including:
- Interpersonal Neurobiology Theory: This theory emphasizes the interconnectedness of mind, body, and relationships, enabling a holistic understanding of human experience.
- Attachment Theory: By exploring patterns of attachment and connection, we can work to heal past wounds and foster healthier relationships.
- Mindfulness: This practice cultivates present-moment awareness and acceptance, promoting emotional regulation and stress reduction.
- Psychoanalysis: This in-depth exploration of the unconscious mind can uncover deep-seated patterns and beliefs that may be hindering personal growth.
- EMDR: Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing is a psychotherapy that uses the AIP (Adaptive Information Processing) model to help people process traumatic memories, thoughts, and feelings. The goal of EMDR is to change how the memory is stored in the brain, which can reduce or eliminate PTSD symptoms.
I specialize in working with individuals who are grappling with a wide range of challenges, including:
- Complex trauma, such as sexual, physical, or emotional abuse
- Relationship difficulties and attachment issues
- Anxiety and depressive disorders
- Substance abuse and addiction recovery
- Self-esteem and identity crises
- Grief and loss
- Crisis intervention and suicide prevention
- Severe and persistent mental health conditions
My therapeutic style is collaborative and individualized, tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. I believe in fostering a safe and supportive environment where individuals can explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgment. Through a combination of therapeutic techniques, including empathy, active listening, and challenging yet compassionate questioning, we can work together to develop coping skills, build resilience, and achieve lasting change.
If you are seeking a therapist who is passionate about helping you heal and grow, I invite you to reach out. Let’s embark on a journey of self-discovery and transformation together.
